There is no better way to remember the experience of your skydive in Miami than to re-live it again and again with friends and family!
The video tells the story, while the stills capture the moment. With most of our locations, with a video and photo package, you get a 5 to 7 minute DVD video with music and special effects, and an optional CD-ROM containing still photos of your skydive.
What kind of video can I expect?
A 5 to 7 minute film of your skydive, dubbed from a Digital video camera on to a VHS tape or DVD with music. The video is personalized with your name and the date of your skydive. We expect to film you at various times beginning with your departure from the preparation area, including your climb into the aircraft, the ride to altitude, leaving the plane, free fall and your landing back safely on Miami soil.
How long before I receive my video?
Within an hour of completing your skydive, your custom video will usually be ready!
Can I take my own camera with me?
You are encouraged to bring your own camera with you and take pictures during your training, however, you will be too busy with your skydive to look after your camera during your actual jump. It may be very easily lost or broken. After all, being 2 miles above Miami and going 120 mph, you will have enough distractions!
Can I have my friends take video or stills of me?
Sure. They will be able to take pictures of you from our dropzone near Miami while you are under canopy and during your landing. They will also be able to take close-ups of you after your skydive.
Can the camera person film more than one person? (or, can my friend and I share the video)?
No. The time and distance gap between exits precludes a camera person from being able to film more than one student per jump.
What kind of still photos can I expect?
Fabulous! After your skydive above Miami, you will be given the DVD (and/or CD-ROM) taken during your skydive. Since you are given the files directly in high-resolution, you have the freedom to have enlargements and multiple copies and prints made suitable for a variety of applications. Some of these applications may include greeting cards, post cards, and business cards.
Should I give advance notice that I would like video?
Yes. Our local network dropzone needs to schedule staff to meet your needs, and the advance notice allows us to better serve you. Let one of our skydiving experts know that you will want the video package and they will be happy to reserve your videographer and answer all of your questions!
